This statement comes from Stephanie Arnett, a senior external development manager at Epic, who addressed concerns about AI’s impact on employment during a recent panel at Gamescom Latam.

Berlin and Cologne are gearing up for one of the biggest events in the gaming industry, as Gamescom 2026 is set to officially open on August 26. The event will be inaugurated by prominent figures including Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance Lars Klingbeil, along with Federal Minister of Research Dorothee Bär, who oversees gaming at the federal level.
