The shift comes alongside a major announcement of a research partnership with Google DeepMind, valued at a staggering $120 million, or approximately £88 million, as first reported by Eurogamer.
In a significant development for both the gaming and tech sectors, Google’s DeepMind has partnered with Fenris Creations to explore artificial intelligence applications within the iconic MMORPG EVE Online. This collaboration comes on the heels of Google acquiring a minority stake in Fenris, which recently transitioned to an independent studio.
